A month ago, I received this message via ActiveRain:
My family and I saw one in New York City and your photos helped us identify the humming bird moth. Thanks and You are right, those guys are QUICK!!!!! I can e-mail you my photographs if you want.
My new correspondent sent me this message yesterday:
Here are my photos! These were taken in Riverside Park in the 'People's Garden' at 93rd Street. The flowers that they favored were Larkspur.
This one lone little guy was very persistant and kept coming back for more!
I hope you enjoy the photos.
--Elizabeth, 10 years old.
Thank you, Elizabeth!

How wonderful that you got these emails and pictures from a 10 year old girl in New York City. I love the photos she sent you and I love the name Elizabeth, my granddaughter's middle name. Have a great day, Robin!

Suddenly butterflys and moths have arrived at our place . Seems like the hotter it gets the more we have.
We haven't seen any at our place over at Canyon Lake; if I see any I'll be back to let you know and maybe if they stay long enough we can get a photo.
Howdy there Robin
Those sure are fine looking photos, that were e-mailed to you. From the little girl in NY. This really goes to show our blogging in the AR community sure does help folks, from all over.
Cool, huh? I was really pleased to get the messages and photos from Elizabeth.
Cheers,
Robin
