Dollhouse is back! Good stuff to watch on TV

Cast of Dollhouse

I was thrilled to read that FOX didn't cancel Dollhouse after all, and promptly added it to my list of scheduled recordings. It's another of Joss Whedon's wonderful shows. He is a great story teller, and I am a huge fan of his shows. Firefly is my favorite show ever, but Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel are not far behind.

Many of the cast members from those shows appear in this season of Dollhouse, too. Joss is loyal to the excellent actors who played a huge part in bringing his vision to life.

I loved Joss's film, Serenity, too. It was terrific, tying up the Firefly series nicely, although it was actually developed from the pilot for the show. Firefly should never have been canceled. Fans (called Browncoats) are still lobbying FOX for its return.

Joss shared an Academy Award for writing for Toy Story, and has been involved with numerous other projects on film and television.

If you've never seen any of Joss Whedon's shows, I highly recommend them. They are on DVD, and the second series of Dollhouse is on FOX.

Hi Robin ~ I've never watched any of these - I'll have to check them out.

I almost never *just* watch TV - it's background for me - but I have it on constantly. I'm so happy some of my favorites are back since with the odd calendar for shows nowadays several of my others recently ended their season.  Californication is back - one of my favorites, Entourage, Medium, and The Office. Plus I'm already hooked on FlashForward.

Liz, I like Eureka, Burn Notice, and Lie to Me. One of my friends told me about Big Bang Theory, which sounds good, too.

If you have cable and a DVR, there's a lot you can be watching in your free time!

Hi Robin, One of my daughters watches these shows, they have not been on my list. I don't get to watch much anyway, I have a very bad habit of putting the laptop on my lap and then.... forget TV, LOL.
