No doubt inspired by famed Illinois Realtor Alan May's attempt to pass himself off as a relative of Elvis Presley's in order to inherit the King's estate, another Realtor has tried the same dodge. This time, world-renowned North Carolina Realtor Craig Rutman testified to probate court that he is the lawful heir to the King of Pop's estate. His claim to the Jackson estate hinges on his identity as the Jackson brother who was left out of the Five so he wouldn't outshine the less-talented Michael.
As proof, Mr. Rutman submitted an unreleased album, Not Bad, that he recorded in 1983. It is surprisingly listenable, with catchy songs such as "On the Fence," "Filler," "Billie Joel," "Man in the Rearview Mirror," and "Please Stop Cuz I've Had Enough."
However, the court warned Mr. Jackson Rutman, before adjourning to give his LP another listen, that his case is still considered flimsy.
